Nasser Al Kindi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Sultan Qaboos University in 2007. Since then, I joined Petroleum Development Oman and scaled in a career in Well Engineering. I then researched in Nano Fluid Technology to qualify a master’s degree in science from the same university in 2014 while starting my journey in Continuous Improvement within the same area. I get qualified as Lean Practitioner before being qualified as CI Coach and continuing my Development in Lean Six Sigma filed to be certified in Green Belt and Black Belt. Lately certified from internationally accredited institute as Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt in 2019, to be known as the first Omani qualified with such certification in the organization. Beside my main assignment in PDO as a member of the CI Leadership Team in the Change and CI Function, I’m also leading the deployment of Lean & CI in the government sector since 2018 as part of the MOU signed between PDO & Oman 2040 Vision Follow-up Unit to drive National Digital Transformation Program. I focused in developing Omani capabilities in Continuous Improvement, to renown Oman as the Centre of Excellence in Lean and Continuous Improvement in the region. Recently I started my DBA study at University of Central Lancashire in UK.

Dr. Haitham Al Hajri is an Executive- Cyber Security Specialist at Oman National CERT, Dr. Haitham Hilal Al-Hajri Holds a PhD in Cybersecurity Management and a Master’s degree in digital forensics, along with a cluster of professional and specialized courses , such as a Certified Manager Risk Management ISO 31000 ISO and Information Security Management Certificate ISO / IEC 27001ISO. Haitham have participated in planning and implementation of a variety of projects, related to human security capacity building and public awareness campaigns, aimed at promoting the cyber security culture within workforce and society along. She worked also as a member of the national program for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced technologies and a senior executive-Digital Transformation in the eTransformation team in Ministry of Transport, communications and IT, as she was also the director of Building Capacity and Awareness in Smart City Platform and lead the Smart Cities and Governorates in 2021.
Laila has also participated as a speaker in many conferences and seminars in Oman and overseas. she is leading national projects in Oman, like Oman Smart Cities project, Government Innovation in emerging technologies in Oman, and other projects related to digital transformation and Smart cities.
Laila is also the founder of Smart City Ambassadors initiative that has been awarded by ITU Innovation Challenges Winning ideas from the Ecosystem best practice challenge category 2020. She is also the founder of Smart Omanuna.
Laila is also a member of the Organizational Change committee in MTCIT and led change management activities on the digital transformation program besides supporting the government entities to adapt the required changes to meet their digital transformation objectives and organization culture change towards the digitization and she established the first CoP in Change Management in Oman that has experts from different sectors who are interested in Change Management.
Laila is a member in different committees in Oman and overseas as well as in the UN standards evaluation internal committee and the UNSECO ICT Programme in Beirut. She is also a government fellowship UNU-EGOV and has a current collaboration with international organizations like ITU and UNI-EGOV to document Oman’s experience in Smart City Ambassadors as a global best Practice.
Away from work and technology, Laila has published two translated books, some short stories, and is currently working on two new books about her experience in travel which is one of her hobbies as she visited more than 50 countries. She is also the founder of @oman_traveler – the first tourism account in Oman with more than 200K followers.

Lina Alsahan is a computer engineer/ M.Sc. in Cybersecurity with four years of hands-on experience in Blockchain technology, networking, and cybersecurity. She started studying Blockchain in 2018 through her senior project. Following her graduation, she held a position at the Smart Communication Networks and Systems Lab at HBKU as a Research Assistant for two years. Lina is well experienced in both public and permissioned Blockchains, as she studied, designed, and developed multiple solutions using diverse Blockchain platforms. From her position at HBKU, she developed a Bitcoin network simulator that enables building a local Blockchain network using virtualization techniques. The simulator received considerable attention from the research community as it provides significant benefits for experimenting and analyzing Blockchain technology. As an extension to her work on the Bitcoin simulator, she researched a new design of the Bitcoin protocol that enables an environmental-friendly mining network. Lina holds a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Qatar University (2019) and a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from HBKU (2021).
